Free adult education courses for beginners
Got a new Android Smartphone but don’t know where to begin? Had an iPhone for ages but feel like you don’t get enough out of it?
Content: We introduce the basic functions of the phone, before exploring the settings and some key applications. Main topics are: connecting to Wi-Fi, how to access the Internet, access your emails, change basic settings, how to download Apps (eg. the MyGP or the NHS App), how to use your phone as a Sat Nav; and, how to take photos and organise them.
Each course has two sessions.
Android Smartphone – 10 May and 17 May 2024
10am to 12.30pm. Warcop Parish Hall (next to Primary School).
iPhone – 7 June and 14 June 2024
10am to 12.30pm. Warcop Parish Hall (next to the Primary School).
Please bring: notebook and pen, your glasses (if you wear them), and your fully charged Android Smartphone or iPhone.
