LOCAL PUBLIC & COMMUNITY TRANSPORT – SUMMARY of CHANGES due to CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

Update 31 May 2020

 

BUS ROUTES OPERATING:-

563 Appleby to Penrith (Mon – Fri) service

From Mon 1 June, the normal timetable will operate

ie departures from Appleby at 9.50, 11.25, 14.25

(and departures from Penrith at 9.15, 10.50, 13.30)

NB The temporary Saturday service is withdrawn

574 Kirkby Stephen to Appleby to Penrith (Tues) service

9.45 from Kirkby Stephen

From Tuesday 16 June, the departure time from Penrith will be at the normal time of 14.30

571 Brough to Kirkby Stephen to Kendal (Mon) service

9.35 from Brough

From Monday 15 June, the departure time from Kendal will be at the normal time of 15.00

570 Ravenstonedale to Kendal (Thurs) service

10.07 from Ravenstonedale

From Thursday 18 June, the departure time from Kendal will be at the normal time of 15.00

Please note that bus operators are implementing various measures including social distancing and enhanced cleaning on buses, in line with Government guidance

506 Appleby to Kendal via Penrith (Mon – Fri) service – still suspended

502 Brough to Kirkby Stephen to Kendal (Mon – Fri) service – still suspended

572 Ravenstonedale to Kirkby Stephen to Barnard Castle (Wed) service

Cumbria Classic Coaches say planning to start service on Wed 1 July

S4 Brough to Kirkby Stephen (Fri) service

S5 Sedbergh to Kirkby Stephen to Kendal (Thurs) service

No information on any changes to current suspensions of S4 and S5 services
